This policy applies to all information collected or submitted on Phillip Island Auto Racing Club Ltd.'s apps for iPhone and any other devices and platforms.
When joining the club on the app, you will be asked for your name, address
details, contact details, email address and pin code. Your address is only
used to send you your membership card and the bi-monthly club magazine
'PIARC Notes'.
Your email address is used to send you your membership number which you
can use with your pin code to log in on the app. Email addresses are also
used for pin code resets, responding to emails that you initiate, and
notifications that you request.
If you choose to submit your contact details, those will only be used for
general contact regarding your membership and competition status.
If you enable notifications, we must store a token to send them.
Our server software may also store basic technical information, such as
your IP address, in temporary memory or logs.
We use the information we collect to operate and improve our website,
apps, and customer support.
We do not share personal information with outside parties.
We implement a variety of security measures to help keep your information secure. Pin codes are hashed, not stored, using industry-standard methods.
You may access or change your information from the PIARC iOS app, or by sending an email to the Membership Secretary at membership@piarc.com.au
PIARC displays links and content from third-party sites such as Natsoft and CAMS. All payments go through Braintree, a PayPal service. Notifications are sent through the Firebase Cloud Messaging service. These have their own independent privacy policies, and we have no responsibility or liability for their content or activities.
